Prof Boehm underwent training and subsequently worked in the spine centres with Prof Klaus Zielke at the German Scoliosis Centre and Prof Juergen Harms at Karlsbad-Langensteinbach. Later he founded and directed the Bad Berka Spine Centre for over a period of 20 years
