Message from the Chairman,

Dear Friends,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you for the 8 Annual Conference of Indian Society of Hip and th th Knee Surgeons to be held from 11to 13 April 2014 at J W Marriott Hotel, Pune. Hip and Knee Arthroplasty has evolved in India…..over the last decade and is now an independent subspeciality. Education has been one of the main objectives of ISHKS and all previous annual conferences have strived to achieve the goal. ISHKS 2014 will aim to satisfy the needs of inexperienced surgeons as well as the experienced ones. The delegates will have the opportunity to interact with great international as well as national faculty. There will be dedicated sessions for clinical cases as well as video technique presentations. We hope to encourage participation of all delegates in the scientific deliberations. Pune is deservedly called ‘Oxford of the East’ and is well connected with all major metros. With the new expressway, it is just two hours drive from Mumbai. We look forward to welcoming all in Pune.
