Guess we need EBM for two purposes..for conducting a study / thesis and for getting clinical information.
i feel for the first purpose basic knowledge of stats can be very helpfull ( to plan our sample size and to get our proforma and data sheet) and for the second purpose its essential to know wht level of evidence suits the question we are seeking an answer for ( cant look for level one prosepctive study if we are looking for reasons for undesiarable outcomes with low incidence like infection or dislocation)
