Atlas of Orthopaedic Surgical Exposures by Christopher Jordan and Edwin Mirzabeigijordan

It is a frequent phenomenon that the surgical landmarks that you learn from textbook drawings and figures are much different when you actually go in for the surgery. Christopher Jordan has worked on this deficiency as he  heads the Surgical Anatomy Lab at Downey, California. The book contains photographic images of fresh cadaver specimens and hence more realistic and accurately depicts what you see while performing surgery. It is said that a good surgeon can get out of trouble, but a better surgeon can stay out of trouble.  The books looks into layers of surgical anatomy page by page.
