is seen in tear of long head of biceps tendon – may you look like popeye after he eats his spinach.

It is not a serious injury and patient doesn’t need surgery.
Case 1
• a person who picked up heavy weight with his hand felt a sharp pain in his shoulder suddenly. The biceps muscle moved in his upper arm and his arm looked bigger specially when flexing biceps muscle.
Ans: this is case of biceps tendon rupture and the deformity is called popeye deformity.
