Dear Prof,
I’d like to express my interest in the hand and upper limb surgery fellowship and feel my educational background in orthopedic surgery makes me a strong candidate for the award.
I graduated from orthopedic surgery in 2010. After almost four years of work as a faculty member (assisted professor) of orthopedic surgery, I passed 1.5 years of hand and upper limb and microsurgery surgery fellowship (2014-2016). Upon completing the fellowship (2016), I restarted my career as a hand and upper limb surgery and microsurgery faculty member.
I believe earning the hand and upper limb fellowship would allow me to use my skills in orthopedic surgery and reconstructive surgery. This fellowship aligns with my goals to expand my knowledge and expertise in hand and upper limb surgery skills.
As a skilled orthopedic surgeon and hand surgeon, I’m ready to expand my experience in shoulder surgery to become an experienced adult reconstructive surgeon. My attached CV provides further details about my background and experience. I appreciate your consideration, and I look forward to hearing more about the upper limb fellowship.
Sincerely,
